40 Restaurants with Kobe beef on the menu
Finding a Kobe beef restaurant can be quite a chore so I put together this list of 40 restaurants serving kobe beef in 10 major US cities. The majority of these restaurants serve American kobe beef, however there are a few that serve imported Japanese kobe beef. The only difference between American style wagyu and Japanese varieties is the price these days.
Wagyu beef is the world's finest beef. Originating in Japan, it is far better than USDA prime beef due to advanced feeding, breeding and management techniques that produce extremely tender and well marbled beef. It is much more healthy than domestically raised beef and contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids which are known to help prevent heart disease and several other ailments. It also has a 2 to 1 ratio of mono-unsaturated fat to saturated fat.
Most of these restaurants only have one or two kobe selections on their menus, such as kobe beef sliders, carpaccio, and burgers. Select few like the Kobe Club in New York and Danny Devito's in Miami have kobe steak, kobe roast tenderloin and wagyu ribeye. I have listed the location, reservation telephone number and kobe beef selections from each restaurant for your convenience.
If your city is not listed I have also prepared a list of reputable premium wagyu suppliers for those of you who do not have a restaurant with kobe beef on the menu in your area. Gourmet butcheries that sell wagyu are about as scarce as restaurants that serve it, so the best place to buy kobe beef is online from a gourmet meat supplier. There is a much more abundant selection of wagyu cuts available for purchase online than in restaurants and it is also much more convenient. If you haven't had the opportunity to try Kobe beef steak I highly suggest making an order today!
Please select your city from the list below to find a kobe beef restaurant in your area:

2. Chicago
3. Las Vegas
4. Los Angeles
5. Miami
6. New York
7. San Diego

I will be updating this page with more restaurants in more cities in the near future. If you serve premium wagyu at your restaurant or you know of a restaurant that does in your area please drop me a line at Nick@Affluentventures.com and I will add it to the list.
